Vote for SNBC and help Experience Corps

Help our organization (Experience Corps) and the community center we’re housed out of (The Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center, aka SNBC) win $50,000 for a MUCH-needed renovation of our office!!!

We’re one of 10 centers selected to compete in the Maxwell House “Drops of Good” community project campaign. It’s an online competition where the three centers that receive the most online votes receive $50,000. Now through June 8, you can VOTE DAILY for SNBC by visiting: http://www.maxwellhousecoffee.com/drops-of-good/all-centers/sunset-neighborhood-beacon-center/.

SNBC provides free daily after-school programs, adult education opportunities, technology and media arts classes, and family support services. The center serves more than 1,000 youth and adults at five middle and elementary schools, a recreation clubhouse, and a community storefront. Experience Corps trains older adults to be tutors/mentors to under-served public school students in San Francisco and Oakland.
